I was able to capture this picture of my 10 yr old tortoise shell baby girl, Maggie. The challenge I was presented with was a technique called blind composition, essentially you take your camera and pick a subject to photograph, (whether it be an inanimate object or live subject) then take pictures at varying heights, distance or angles. The catch is that you are not allowed to use the view finder or even live view. (Thus the name Blind Composition)
